"Steelheart" is a novel by Brandon Sanderson about a young man named David who joins the Reckoners, a group of normal humans, to fight against the oppressive rule of superpowered individuals called Epics, and to avenge his father's death by killing the seemingly invincible Epic, Steelheart, who rules over post-apocalyptic Chicago.
